#FotoVorschlag 'Weltkulturerbe' / 'World Heritage'
Vor ca. 3000 Jahren wurden in Tanum an der schwedischen Westküste über 10.000 Motive in die Felsen geritzt. Seit 1994 gehören sechs Fundstellen zum UNESCO Welterbe.
Around 3,000 years ago, over 10,000 motifs were carved into the rocks at Tanum on Sweden’s west coast. Six sites have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1994.

Back in 2015 I made an #AR installation for the world heritage #rockcarving site in #Tanumshede, so I found it very interesting to see similar tech used to teach visitors about the workings of the #Grimeton #VLF #Radio Station.
It's a world heritage site on account of being the last operational long range mechanical radio transmitter, its design pre-dating vacuum tubes! It transmits #morsecode using a big spinning alternator wheel to generate a 17.2kHz signal which can reach New York and beyond
