Monty Pythonicus presents: Polish Apple cake, or Szarlotka!
This is his human's favourite cake after walnut.
It's a traybake, a sandwich of dough that resembles shortbread in turns of crumblyness and texture.
In between is a cooked filling of grated apples and cinnamon.
This is very much a weigh with your heart cake. Go nuts, add nuts. Or blackberries, raspberries, whatever. Take one apple out, replace w fruit.

Argghh.. pizza slightly burned bc I was up a ladder, distracted by paint.
Pizza itself snorfed down quickly so I could walk the dog before the rain started. Came home and whole thing was gone!
Anyhoo, here's the #szarlotka (Polish #apple #cake) a dough/shortbread sandwich with cooked cinnamon apple filling. There are many different kinds, this one's just my favourite + good way to use up old apples.
I will add the recipe later, typing on the laptop is much easier.

This means CAKE (Apple szarlotka - Polish apple cake ) and PIZZA 🍕
I am optimistically going to juggle between this and DIY.. a recipe for disaster you might say (baDUM *TISH*)
