Can't wait for the #SwitchPro to drop.

Been gaming on my iPad for the last month and the experience with the Nintendo switch pro controller is better as you can use pretty much any button to the pro controller and it connects first try to to the iPad, where is the Xbox controller just stays in a flashing mode, and then I have to turn it off, which takes freaking forever and then turn it back on. Not a great experience. #Xbox #SwitchPro #iPad

Also gaming on iPad is freaking sweet. I can play anywhere and on a large screen!

Prediction update: I'm seriously doubting we're going to see a Switch 2 release coincide with BotW 2 in May now. But I still think we'll hear an announcement around then. Probably April at earliest, when their new fiscal year starts, but no latter than August. Maybe we'll even get an E3 reveal.

And I'm still thinking March 2024 release at the latest, but maybe we'll still get it this fall 🤞

For IGN I wrote about how it really, truly is time for a "Switch Pro" or "Switch 2." The hardware needs an update.

Unfortunately...it's not looking like that will happen soon. So, Nintendo-first gamers are going to have to put up with mediocre performance and ports.

Personally? I've not been using my Switch for anything aside from exclusives. The perks of portable play no longer outweigh the ugly presentation of some titles.

Still playing around with the Switch Pro controller. Finally got past the experimental gyro support phase and have now arrived at the fun to play phase. Ended up starting a New Game+ run of Bulletstorm. #switchpro #bulletstorm #vidya

For the most part, HidGuardian is essential when using the Switch Pro controller for most games. Some really funky things can happen especially when playing wired. Super Meat Boy is horribly unplayable without blocking the original Switch Pro DirectInput device. #switchpro
