My add-on/extension "Imposter Cards" gets another vital update!

Now you can merge imposter cards!

That means you can turn an entire cluster of high-poly objects, like a forest of trees and rocks, into simple planes, then join thousands of those planes into a single object.

This massively improves performance across all kinds of projects, not just video games! Check the example video:

Hey #b3d Peeps!

Now "Imposter Cards" has emission and ambient occlusion !

Thanks to some helpful feedback from seasoned #UNITY & Blend-fu master @LaurieAnnis, I learned that my addon needs to also include an option for emission and ambient occlusion maps!

Fixed a bug that prevented optimal atlas packing.

Now optimized vector math is done with xyz swizzle, instead of vector rotation. And with less texture samples.
(originally it was 9, now it is 7)

The new tri-planar imposter cards are better than the single card imposters!

Most likely this is because of a greatly simplified shader.

Now reflections and shadows are more accurate. Take a look at the example!
