I used to live in an apartment with a sunroom. This sounds great until you realize the entire room was covered in shag carpeting. Floor, ceiling, and walls. It was thick with years and years of dust. It smelled like a drier that never had the lint trap cleaned. I'm not sure what colour the carpet was originally, but it looked grey. Why would someone ever carpet a room like this? #sunroom #carpeting #ShagCarpet

I am taking a chance and moved all the #HousePlants back out to the (unheated) #sunroom Will have to use the space heater a few nights still, but they are tired of spending the entire winter on the kitchen table.
As soon as they're back I realize how much I missed the green in this room. Happy #Spring and #Easter, everyone. Hope the bunny brings much chocolate.

Putting away the quilts and throws scattered around the house. Thinking that the #sunroom looks darned bare, as we wait for the warmer temps of #spring.
Wtih the time change, I'm poised to do something stupid, like move my plants back out there from the kitchen table too early.

Sitting in my #sunroom, first coffee finished [bwaaaaaaaah], sun nicely warming my back, reading my Masto on my #Fedora #KDE lappy... & a large flock of glorious #SulphurCrestedCockatoos just squawked by.
Pleasant autumn mornings like this almost make me forget that the #ClimateCrisis apocalypse is upon us & escalating, whilst instead some peeps focus only on how they can hurt, suppress & extinguish all we #trans peeps.
I'll make another coffee, & try to ignore it all, for a bit longer...

We've spent the day today curled up in our #sunroom, chasing what little light we've received so far this gloomy Indiana November.
It's the coldest room in the house thanks to the fact that it has no vents, but I've made a blanket nest in the papasan and am working my way through a stack of #books to read. The space heater is doing a lot of work for us, but it's been lovely. The ultimate #cozy #Saturday vibes.
