The more i read about #Sunaks National Service pledge, the more batshit insane and downright discriminatory it sounds.

18 year olds have 2 choices, one of which (Military training) is limited to 30,000 places.

No one is compelled to do Military training - which is hardly surprising if there is a cap on numbers.

BUT, that means every 18 year-old is effectively compelled to take option 2:

fair point - I guess after 4 lost elections I tend to err on the side of not frightening the horses - I suspect I am not alone

It would help if #starmer & co clearly communicated their focus (if not, prior to a #manifesto, actual policies) & how it takes us forward where the #kipperTories cannot. I think #regionalDevolution needs to be expanded on & contrasted with #sunaks #robberBaron #freeports
