After looking back realized last year I did a lot I'm proud of art wise wee :>

- Tons of pixels
- Tested out animation
- Complete 3 gamejams
- Made 2 pieces that got physical displays
- Made a whole set of Major Arcana cards
- (Also I drew my first secret NSFW commission >:3)

Initially I picked as artist name "Nsyse" for "Not Something You See Everyday"

I switched for practical reasons lol

I lived up to that name this year :3

It's that time of the year again, meaning I get to share my yearly summary! It's been an interesting mix of a year, but I'm happy with what I've created! I must say this was the year I could feel my skill growing :D It's now much easier to handle rendering and shading, especially in portraits (because I practiced them so much)

The amount of stuff I have drawn this year has been actually insane. I haven't drawn this much since like…high school! With that, my art changed A LOT throughout the year. If 2024 me saw how my art looked now, I think he would freak out, lol.

Oh man, what a year. I've done such a variety of things and it's been such good fun! From emotes, pixel art, cross stitch and rock painting (which didn't get to fit in!), illustrations, pages for a book and so much more. I can't wait to see what a new year will bring

My art summary for 2024.

Was definitely a fun year in terms of art. I tried a lot of new things, learned a bunch of new tricks.
But I also started getting really burned out by November-December. So I'll probably shake things up a bit starting from January-February 2025, just so I don't get bored with my own artworks.

The Summary of Art of my 2023 ✨

Finally 2023 is gone, I'll take the opportunity to talk to you guys a little

Good things happened to me, bad things, something terrible that still hurts me a lot to this day, but at least I'm saying goodbye to that year full of things that... The truth is I don't want to live again

My art improved a little, especially in small details to better highlight my coloring and that makes me think that it looks the same style without having undergone such radical changes. At least little by little I'm improving

I still want to experiment more, improve more things, but I would also like to learn more things besides drawing [For example, to play more songs on the Kalimba, there as a secondary hobby] and live more experiences although I am a little terrified of leaving my bubble

I only hope in 2024 that things get better, 2023 has been one of my worst years on an emotional level and I will never forget the scars it left me, I simply have to learn to live with them and do my best to move forward

I hope to meet new people, reconnect with people here, continue with my friends although I have neglected them in recent months.... And I also hope that you guys continue to support my art. It's a very difficult path but I have not yet given up on following this little dream I have. I'm missing a lot of things but I'm really doing my best and for now I'm fine.

I hope this year to do even more personal things for myself because this Summary of Art is mostly made with comms, hopefully the one in 2024 will have more personal art or fanarts that I do for pleasure

This year didn't have as much art compared to previous years since I started learning how to use Unity last year and now Godot but when I do any art its mainly me trying out new things or having extreme art months (like October and July for Inktober and Art Fight) and then burning out from that for a bit teehee! my mother passed away. i somehow ended up half-blind. i am still stuck in a shit-tacular job.

the only highlight i have is that after corona ruining the bookfair, i finally got to see my friends in berlin this year.
