@ai6yr the #GOP have been elected on this anti-science and anti-knowledge platform for years. They have been trying to dismantle public education and replace it with #ChristianIndoctrination via #CharterSchools, #HomeSchooling, and letting ever hack found a #MicroSchool drawing down state educational budgets and hurting children by not letting them have a comprehensive education and poor public schools so they cannot effectively compete for jobs and depriving them of a common American experience that public schools are ... I guess this is the base that's then angrily votes for ever more #RightWingExtremists and the cycle continues.
