New Read - Wolverine: Old Man Logan

Ho. Lee. Shit.

I finally got around to reading Wolverine: Old Man Logan on vacation and it was...a lot.

For those who don't know, the story is set in a future version of the Marvel universe where all the super villains banded together, selectively targeting the heroes, and took over the world.

Logan AKA Wolverine has survived and is living largely unnoticed in California with a wife and two kids, not using his powers anymore and running a farm, in a land ruled by the Hulk who had fully lost all sense of reality and had a bunch of Hulk kids. He needs the money, so he helps out a now fully blind Hawkeye on a cross-country journey to hopefully pay off his debt to the Hulk family.

It has tons of world building, but it's seamlessly part of the plot. The way they show what happened to so many characters and how Logan got to the state he was in, was well done.

A lot of content warnings including graphic violence and references of incest as a fair warning. But, overall, it's a well crafted and dark story.
