  1. lora set up to connect via bluetooth to linux laptop machine which uses as the messaging gui.
    Gruesome details here codeberg.org/adingbatponder/re
    based on fabulous codeberg.org/kraven/g2_rnode_f
(with Claude Code to the rescue).

  2. I'm looking for someone who's willing to share their experiences with putting a cavity filter on a meshtastic station G2. I believe I have a significant interference problem here, and wondering if others have been able to solve that with a filter. Guess I'm not locked into a cavity type filter, but that's really all I've seen. Specific filter suggestions are also welcome.

  3. See post above....
(The Station G2 also allows for 12V input on connector on the side.)

Note that not all USB cables will/can provide sufficient power. The node is only working properly if all the multi-coloured lights are on. Just a red power light alone is NOT ok.

  4. This is a trial of a solar node to run the Station G2 node which runs on USB PD (power delivery) (requiring 15W) & so needs more than just a normal USB power supply.

Node: Station G2 shop.uniteng.com/product/mesht 868MHz version, comes with the antenna shown
    Battery: Jackery 240 cyberport.de/haushalt/outdoor-
    Solar Panel: amzn.eu/d/bLaSsIz
    Solar Cables: amzn.eu/d/dyJ5N3Z
    USB C to USB C cable: amzn.eu/d/iPj7p7w
    USB PD adaptor: amzn.eu/d/hGJWITe

  5. This things works out of the box. Very nice indeed. It is the first device with which I was able to make contact (one way) with others in an environment with few nodes, and without using . I used 27dBm - which is what the device seems to default to.
