  7. No i #RNode zadziałał także na smartfonie z #Sideload . Drugiego bym musiał skonfigurować by to jakoś potestować bo nie sądzę by się coś w eterze znalazło.

  8. Udało mi się nareszcie połączyć #Sideband z Windows do mojego #RNode interfejsem #serial co jest trochę bez sensu, bo miało być z #Android po #Bluetooth ale przynajmniej wiem, że mi wezeł działa.

  13. I'ts me again with a #Reticulum question: Has somebody else issues to connect Heltec V3/V4 with Android? Current Firmware #Rnode and CE Firmware
If I click on the Node in the Pairing Menu nothing happens (node is in pairing mode).
I can use those boards with Meshtastic and Meshcore wothout issues.
Edit: iOS is does not show nodes at all.
I re-flashed multiple times via the webflasher.

Edit: Reliable success with Columba 1.0.1 Beta (Abdroid) and curremt Rnode and CE.

  14. Hey #Reticulum people, is #rnode really inactive at the moment and if so, what can I use on my heltec V3 instead to use the #reticulumnetwork ?

  15. I'm feeling pretty dissatisfied with the Heltec V4 Expansion Kits I bought. I connected them both to (and configured with) the Sideband app. Set them up so they could also act as Transport Nodes. Power set to 28db. Range is sub-optimal compared to my T-Echoes that are running 22db and get out further (using a Paradar +5db gain antenna on all units). Also not happy that RNS firmware provides no screen whatsoever so everything has to be done through the app. Reading elsewhere online and quite a few people also having this problem. I'm at the point where I may refocus temporarily on moving my efforts to concentrating on RNS over Packet Radio until I have the resources to properly build a localnet of several nodes for LoRa. I would be interested in hearing from people who have had more success with the Heltec V4's... #Reticulum #RNode #LoRa #Meshradio

  20. So it seens my #reticulum setup works for some time but crashes after a while :loading:

also my lxmf relay is being displayed as "last seen 1d". Sounds like debbuging to me ...

also the #RNode does not seem to turn of its display. long press on prog turns it off but also kills the Bluetooth connection.

  21. Finally got #reticulum Working! Server as (LXMF) Relay/Gateway via #I2P and #Yggdrasil. Phone with #Columba as Client. Yay!

Also got my HeltecV3 flashed with #RNode and even paired with my phone. The later was the hardest part, lol.

Not quite sure what to do now ... probably get some more #LoRa nodes and have a Server-Phone connection via it, besides WiFi?

The map can help understand a local mesh setup and the role of propagation nodes, the audio channels and so on. Pressing "announce" on a node shows up in the map in real time. This is shown also in these videos youtube.com/shorts/zt1yB5kgiV4

  25. Anyone out there experimenting with Reticulum? Building RNodes?

We put together a FREE GUIDE just for fun. 👉 Building a working Reticulum node from off-the-shelf hardware.

  32. I have an Acer laptop in the loft running a on and on since over 200 days and it still works. So Nixos was stable did not fail for over 200 days. For info about Reticulum etc. one can consult loramesh.org

  33. When I was out at the shopping mall the other day I notice my RNode going nuts. Some weird interference. What could be causing this? #Reticulum #RNode #DataMesh #LoRa

  34. I’ve managed to tweak the config and compile firmware for the Heltec Wireless Stick Lite v1. It’s not officially supported but it works. If someone is interested, I can upload it to GitHub for public use.

  35. @daan yes, I tried #RNode and #LoRa. But only indoor test for short range. I tested serial and WiFi connection between computer with #RNS and RNode and Bluetooth connection between smartphone and another RNode. All three worked. And yes, with very recent RNS and RNode firmware it is possible to connect LoRa device with computer also over WiFi
