  1. No i #RNode zadziałał także na smartfonie z #Sideload . Drugiego bym musiał skonfigurować by to jakoś potestować bo nie sądzę by się coś w eterze znalazło.

  2. Udało mi się nareszcie połączyć #Sideband z Windows do mojego #RNode interfejsem #serial co jest trochę bez sensu, bo miało być z #Android po #Bluetooth ale przynajmniej wiem, że mi wezeł działa.

    #Reticulum

  3. Finally got #reticulum Working! Server as (LXMF) Relay/Gateway via #I2P and #Yggdrasil. Phone with #Columba as Client. Yay!

Also got my HeltecV3 flashed with #RNode and even paired with my phone. The later was the hardest part, lol.

Not quite sure what to do now ... probably get some more #LoRa nodes and have a Server-Phone connection via it, besides WiFi?

  4. Anyone out there experimenting with Reticulum? Building RNodes?

We put together a FREE GUIDE just for fun. 👉 Building a working Reticulum node from off-the-shelf hardware.

If you've got corrections, better approaches, or hardware combos that worked for you, share them below. 🙏

  5. When I was out at the shopping mall the other day I notice my RNode going nuts. Some weird interference. What could be causing this? #Reticulum #RNode #DataMesh #LoRa

  6. @daan yes, I tried #RNode and #LoRa. But only indoor test for short range. I tested serial and WiFi connection between computer with #RNS and RNode and Bluetooth connection between smartphone and another RNode. All three worked. And yes, with very recent RNS and RNode firmware it is possible to connect LoRa device with computer also over WiFi

  7. Heltec RNodes updated as is my Sideband. Unfortunately still can’t make calls in Sideband (it’s grayed out). Also, trying to find RNode Transport Node software for the Lilygo T-Echo and I see none. Me sad 🥹 #RNode #Reticulum #Sideband #TEcho

  8. @sacha @screwlisp @dougmerritt @zagebo @vavakado I'm trying to figure out how to maintain a wireless terminal connection with my home computer up to 10km away (further's edge of town)

    Via over () or another . , , , , etc

I'm not sure where this is going if anywhere ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  9. Has anyone managed to make a message between different using : either using the same single computer and two different radios (on the same frequency), or using two rnode radios on 2 different computers connected by ? I seem to get this not working "out of the box" because of of lora packets of the two rnodes. Has anyone managed to bridge lora rnodes by putting in a transmission delay in e.g. ?

  10. If a instance with a address on one computing device has 4 identical interfaces, each with same settings of frequency , each rnode having a in close vicinity, will transmission to a sender of a () from 1 antenna to the sender's direction, be messed up due to local at rnode 1 of different attempted signals of the other 3 near rnodes?

  11. Is there a of a used with different numbers of for given ( ) & given payload size? Am interested to know what happens to the routing, & likelyhood of for small LoRa packets (max 2 blocks), for longest transmission times i.e. spreading factor 12 . Would like to know if my impressions, that SF 12 is very tricky under LoRa as compared with , have a clear explanation.

  12. Setting a decent in for an interface that matches a given radio parameter set (or sets) ( etc.) helps avoid the sad scenario that an rnode uses up its 10% maximum legally permitted allowance for that when trying to send or resend payloads that stand no chance of 100% delivery in a reasonable time frame. loramesh.org/SF

  13. It seems to be possible to set a message size delivery limit as defined by the parameter lxmf_delivery_transfer_limit_in_bytes
    in github.com/liamcottle/reticulu
to let each have its own limit suiting its own

  14. Some interesting info about the effect of () in is in papers about SF pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/ SF12 in & lora pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/

Can one influence the effectiveness of using multiple interfaces , in one single end-point location, with different SF by setting the delivery limit down github.com/markqvist/LXMF/blob from the default 1 MB for those , of a set, with higher SF values?

  15. In a world where control of #communication networks is increasingly centralized, #DIYnetworks offer an independent alternative. This presentation shows how to build up your own autonomous #meshNetworks with low-cost hardware components and open source tools such as #Reticulum and #MeshChat. We will present practical steps for the construction, configuration and integration of sensors, communication and computing power. We are also discussing how such #networks can be used in #humanitarianCrises, such as the organisation of aid measures through solidarity initiatives.

This workshop offers a detailed journey through the world of do-it-yourself radio networks and #autonomousCommunication structures. Using an exemplary system structure, we show how to realize cost-effective, flexible mesh networks with #LoRa #RNode, Reticulum and MeshChat. In doing so, we not only dedicate ourselves to the technical requirements – such as the optimal hardware selection, antenna adaptation and network planning (keyword “Network Planning 101”) – but also consider how these technologies can be used for #humanitarian purposes, for example at #CADUS.

  16. To receive by on radio one needs to have the same 4 radio parameters as the announce: SF CR
-> permits any number of interfaces !
To hear the most announces, does it make sense & is it possible to set up several e.g. 5 with same frequency: 869.525 MHz
    bandwidth: 250 kHz but
each with different SF & CR? Would one be able to receive more announces that way? Would it work?

The rnode shuts down cleanly when batteries run out & re-starts when power is back, whereupon the batteries charge at the same time in
