@sarahc 2 women have been killed by drunk motorists while pushing their shopping carts across highway about a mile from me, since 2020. They used to walk by my house, One 43, one 45. Both homeless women. Three strikes 1) Homeless 2)carless 3) women. In other words #invisible in East Oregon #StateOfJefferson #Death

@paninid In the sense that the secessionist leanings stem from a hippie/environmentalist movement that sought out the Williams / Applegate valley. Those folks just wanted to live off the land and resist standard government. Some of their kids played music and formed a band using that #StateOfJefferson name.

We're here for a #StateOfJefferson reunion concert. Not the Southern #Oregon + Northen #California secession movement, but the hippie jam band. Though they are kind of related. Ladylove knows most everybody from her days running #SONORML. It's fun being her arm candy.

Coos County is redder than ever. Not hopeless. Depressing though. How ugly will it need to get before a swing back to "abnormal?"
