Cozzi says that the pseudonym "Lewis Coates" was NOT to appeal to foreign markets but the Italian one. Apparently Italian audiences preferred the idea of foreign-made Westerns etc, so Italian directors & actors using Anglo sounding names was an already developed tradition in the Italian movie business
For some reason, on Plex he is listed as NEITHER Luigi Cozzi NOR Lewis Coates but as "Luigi Collo"

Caroline Munro was then married to former surf rocker Judd Hamilton, who also was her manager. After dinner w/ the producers, he was cast as the robot
Seems Judd got jealous of the vibe growing between Caroline & the Hoff & came up with artistic reasons why the two shouldn't have a final kiss in the film

Tonight's Monsterdon snack is an 'American style' bag of pulled pork flavour maize and rice snacks which thankfully have never left Europe.
For Brits, ....it's basically Frazzles with perhaps a maple syrup twangI first came across 'Marjoe Gortner' as a child in the movie Earthquake, where he played a National Guardsman who goes nuts with a bit of power. I did enjoy that film as a film, I think it was watching people panic and scream...

Watched the longest fin ever -Starcrash (1978) 1hr32 and not even the MST3000 version.
We knew it was going to be bad, but every 8 minutes felts like hours….most of the scenes could be have been cut, so unnecessary. And they had a budget of 4 million dollars 😱 Star Wars (1977) had an 11 million budget.
Usually love a good bad movie, but even all the laughing from how bad it was, wouldn’t be enough to watch it again.

Just read an online article about the film Starcrash (1978), and why it is a Good/Bad movie, and states why you should watch it, and it *didn't mention* the fact that a young David Hasselhoff is a large factor of Star Crash, so the article is bad and stupid.
