Last week got off to a rough start when we lost internet at w0rmh0le HQ. Thank you to those who still came out to learn and play together, despite the technical issues.
Tomorrow, we're back with the next #starbase0 #HackAndCraft session.
As the name implies, this is not limited to comp-sci/programming, so whether you're a musician, artist, fabric worker, wood worker, or whatever, bring a project and hang out with us.

Not too long ago I got overwhelmed when I started talking about #starbase0 and trying to collaborate with people to make something bigger than I can on my own. I still believe strongly in what I was trying to do then, but broadcasting it made my little brain hypercritical of what I was doing and I actually quit working on all of my side projects as a result. I also got a lot quieter here on the fedi.

Finally got my first repo up on #sourcehut
https://git.sr.ht/~nebunez/w0rmh0le-liveOf course, since this was my first time developing php locally, things broke when I deployed to the server. 🤷
I was able to fix most things with manual edits, but the router implementation just doesn't work since the project is deployed in a child directory of the root apache site. I bet I need to just make it it's own site or something. Also 'created' the #starbase0 mail list on sr.ht ...
Time for some food and a walk now.

Launching #starbase0 was the first step for me to try to make a real difference in the world. It's a small win for now, but one that will lead to more wins as more people are joining and contributing already. #WinsDay -
