the reality today is that I DO need to squash and rebase to be a good and cooperative contributor to a certain project.

While right now survival feels like #Winsday 🙈 I have always loved reading (it's like my sacred little joy) but my reading habits got messed up recently.

I am now on track to complete 50 days of my reading streak. 🤞

For my inaugural #Winsday (thanks @rebecca for the hashtag suggestion!):

Running is kind of like meditation for me. When it’s been too long I start to feel boxed in.

Made a plan to run twice a week in the early morning, and yesterday was the first day and .. I ran 5.5 miles before anyone was awake 🏃‍♂️

@viciousviscosity I've been a programming dabbler for a long time, but never made anything that wasn't much more than a hundred or so line shell program. I decided a couple months ago to try my hand at making an iOS app, and try to do something that's proper. Take advantage of multiple features of the platform, be more than the most basic of MVPs, even make an icon for it. I wanted it to be something that I would actually use.

It's something very niche to my needs, but I've got a version 1.0 nearly done that I'm proud of. The big win was learning the specifics of how a lot of apps work on a modern system. I plan to do a bit of a refactor to take what I've learned would be a better way to arrange stuff, but overall, I'm happy with finally having this particular task completed finally. It's also got me thinking of other ideas to try, since I feel like I can actually take these from ideas to complete apps.

Launching #starbase0 was the first step for me to try to make a real difference in the world. It's a small win for now, but one that will lead to more wins as more people are joining and contributing already. #WinsDay

Today my whole family and I got up on time and in good moods and got to school and work on time! It's been weeks since we've done that and does it ever feel good.

@viciousviscosity It's already Thor's Day here, and I have the day off from work! So maybe it's a belated #WINSday after all.

Mine was cleaning the dust off the camera and getting some photos again (yay!).

On my #Winsday I went out with a couple of friends to a conservatory to see tropical plants and birds. We had lunch at a kosher-style deli, I got some poppyseed hamentaschen to go, and we got everybody home before the snow picked up.
