I did a thing and had my 244th #blooddonation at #StanfordBloodCenter on Monday, with 2 units of platelets extracted. By now, probably leaving the labs for use at emergencies and cancer treatments with really sick people.
The limited free gift is a #SanJoseEarthquakes scarf - good to use during these 80-90F days the west coast is having. 😀
Monday had a slightly off cycle regular #blooddonation of platelets at #stanfordbloodcenter. All time donation 228! About 2 hours end to end.

Just back from blood donation (platelets) number 218. 2 units went into the bags from the centrifuge at #stanfordbloodcenter The bags went to the labs, and into a human in a day or two.
Interestingly, I haven't been asked for a triple donation recently - it's been quarters at least. Possibly age related, or their staffing level. They were short some snacks, although I was there end of the day.
Donated 2 units of #platelets yesterday at one of #stanfordbloodcenter donation centers. Tried my right arm, which I hadn't used for donations in a while. I'm still on a regular donation, and this was 215 I think. I'm considering increasing if it works for them.

I had my 210th #BloodDonation last week at #StanfordBloodCenter. As usual, platelets and 2 bags sucked out. This aways feels good to help others.
I need to switch arms, but the veins on the other arm side aren't as good and near a valve which can slow future donations.
Put a good chunk into Brian Johnson's #Arete, but need to set it aside as higher library hold priorities showed up.

#Blooddonation #199 on Monday at #StanfordBloodCenter. Just 2 units of platelets this time as they had decent supplies. Which meant about 30 mins less in the chair for me than usual 3 units.
I always feel good after donating knowing that my blood is going to be used in someone reason sick. Oddly, I also sleep heavier that night too.
Visited a #stanfordbloodcenter location and donated 3 units of platelets for my 19x something #blooddonation Monday afternoon. And they had the larger sized #PacificCookieCompany of #SantaCruz cookies too, which go great with pog juice.
110 mins in the chair getting blood pulled and returned. Hopefully no future gashes or papercuts until I regenerate the cells.
