Great to catch up with you both @tnjh!

  28. I had a wine last night that was not only terrible, it was also highly enthusiastically priced. For £60 a (very heavy) bottle, Single Tree Chardonnay 2019 from Uva Mira #zawine #southafricanwine, provided vapid, dreary drinking, with little in the way of flavour beyond a hint of oak. Its other flavours were a result of it not so much being cold fermented, but as it was so confected it must have been cryogenically fermented. Horrible banana essence and pineapple chunks on the nose and palate. Luckily it was so dilute these flavours were not in your face. They were just horrid. Avoid.
