  1. 🙄 Ah, behold! The magical #AI that will cleanse your #audio sins and polish your mediocre #content into a "professional" masterpiece — all for the low, low price of $0.00. Because why bother with actual #soundproofing when you can lazily slap a one-size-fits-all algorithm over everything and pray for miracles? 🎤✨

  6. Very happy the wallpaper has come off very nicely. Next is marking up hwere the dot & dab are to enable sound insulating expanding foam to be injected, then mass loaded vinyl then finally sound defusing slatted panels. It's a process. #SoundProofing

  10. #Theremin #Music #SoundProofing
As we live in a terraced house, I have spent 16 months playing my Theremin with headphones on, so as to not disturb our neighbours. Playing "live" sounded totally different and was a tad disorienting. So last week I decided to line the shared wall and other bits of my music room with 2440x1220x50 cm polystyrene sheets. Seems to have worked a treat!

  15. How to best sound-proof a door between two rooms?

Say I have a rat maze experiment that involves sounds and I don’t want to disrupt my colleagues’ experiments.
Or say my rats get distracted by the noises next door and I don’t want to have loud white noise during my task.
In this case the door is almost never in use, although it would be ideal if it could work on a door that’s in use as well.

PS: I cannot replace the door. The sound seems to come from the space between the door and the door frame.
