I've decided on my Song Of The Year for 2025, after going through a list of 64 songs, a shortlist of 16, squeezed down to 7 songs, to finally pick the winner..

Showing Teeth - Labyrinth

The song starts by ripping you out of your reality, by cat-like screams, grooves to center you, followed by a unique heavy vocal. It's fresh, it's new and just when you think you are adjusted, an angelic chorus comes in and that's it. You love this band now.

The song continues between heavy and cleans, has a nice groovy bridge and ends with a nice growl; congratulations, you have traversed the Labyrinth.

Been a fan since “Cappuccino”. Her voice is so distinct and her lyrics are often fun and unique. Just one of the best to do it. Glad she dropped a new tune with some other OG rappers.
