When the days are short, the light is low, palm trees sway in the wind, cool sea breezes blow all the way from Alaska, and, somehow, it feels like the leaves rustle in the distance, even at this southernmost reach of the seemingly "Infinite Coast".

It's somehow disappointing, to head west and enjoy every minute of it...and then find there's nowhere further west you can even go. Well...there is Alaska, but even with that, when you're here, it very much feels like the "End of the Map".
