The #EFF opposes the #shopSafe bill (in part) b/c online sellers will have to investigate where the items they sell were made. It’s not obvious to me what’s wrong with supply chain transparency. I boycott some entire regions, so it’s ethically relevant where stuff is made. (btw I’ve not read the Shop Safe bill & this is not an endorsement; just a probe of EFF’s criticisms)
