Realized I apparently had never drawn them on their movie design hoverboards and had to change that

CW: sexual content
Little headcanon that for them, since they wouldn't want to waste backpack space by carrying around a strap-on, that is a luxury thing they do whenever they are in one of the cities. Of course Shay would top

That scene between Tally and Shay at the finale of Pretties, holy shit...

Some headcanons for Special Circumstances uniforms, since in the movie we only saw the sneak suits - at least they look the closest to what the books described the sneak suits even if they didn't ever change colors to blend in anywhere.

CW: sexual content, partial nudity
Love how much this captures just how unhinged Tally as a Special is (and Shay totally being into that). Definitely my favorite #nsfw with my own designs for them.

Bondage and being a cyborg super soldier with super strength don't always work together well

"David breaks up with Tally. She doesn't take it well. Shay tries to help."
Quite dark but also so healing to write story focused on Tallys mental health problems, particularly the self-harm.

God, they should have kissed...

#FemslashFebruary prompt "Sit with Me"
I like how well that sums up their dynamic (book design Shay and Tally)

#FemslashFebruary Prompt "Understand Me"
Couldn't help but giving Tally and Shay (book design) a jump hug reunion a la Entrapdak as they see each other again after separating at the end of Specials

Femslash February prompt "Fight Me"
They're super soldiers, you know what that means? Homoerotic fight training.

Thought I train how to draw backs using my favorite dystopian super soldier ladies.
(Dr. Cable some when during the first three books, Shay and Tally afterwards, between Extras and Youngbloods)

Book Design Tally/Shay drawing I did ages ago because why not use your super soldier strength to hold your girlfriend?
Background is a blurred stock photo because I didn't have the energy and the skills

Drew this relatively shortly after the movie came out, but never came around to publish it

It was only a question of time until I would draw them scissoring. (book design aka my own design Tally and Shay some when between Extras and Youngbloods again, they're mid twenties or something

Started with wondering why all these strange takes were happening, ended with the shift of narratives in changing times and the subjectivity of art

Perhaps my favorite drawing of them in my book design as Uglies.
Drew this before the movie came out, and even had it on my wall in the background in my trailer reaction.

"I don't have the words."
"Shay, how do you mean that?"
"You gained weight. It... looks very good."

Buff woman photo bc Tally is still a super soldier even with a bit of gained weight

There is just something so beautiful about imagining them healing and finally, years after everything going down, experiencing their first sapphic love together.
Takes place ~6 years after Specials, so they are around 22.

The obligatory patching up drawing. My design Tally and Shay, some when post Extras, older drawing.

Just needed to draw this almost kiss pose with them after the main trilogy (~2 years after Extras). Really like how it turned out

Hurts a bit to see just how innocent they are in Uglies, knowing what will happen to them in the rest of the series.
PS: Keep rewatching the movie, Scott says it might be needed to get the sequels adapted too. In the background works too.

Drew an Uglies AU for Griddlehark (Locked Tomb) already, favorite book toxic yuri crossover if you will, now the other way around with Tally and Shay (how I imagined them, not the movie versions) as cavalier and necromancer.

New icon for tumblr and twitter. Thought I do the bi pride flag color thing mixed with a neutral color again.
