Once the storm has passed and it is safe to do so, we always appreciate reports of the size of hail that fell in your area. Here is a chart that you can use when estimating the size of a hailstone. Better yet use something to measure the diameter!

Tornado safety for mobile homes:• A mobile home is NOT safe & you MUST seek an alternative shelter.
• Treat a Tornado Watch as your Tornado Warning - make plans ahead of time to stay with loved ones who live in a sturdy building.

• They are for OUTDOOR warning purposes
• Siren is a signal to get indoors & seek more info
• It does NOT mean threat has ended when sirens stop

Be sure to describe as much as you can regarding flooding. Note that quick onset flooding may not yet rise to the severity of flash flooding per warning issuance. Still report non-flash flooding & note whether it's worsening or hasn’t changed much.
