Although the SER8 is a newer model with Ryzen 8845HS and improved cooling instead of the older 7840HS, the SER8 only has a single USB4 port, but the SER7 has two full featured USB4 and another USB-C port with 10 Gbps in front! And I already use these ports for displays, external SSDs, to connect to my Pixel or to an eGPU.
