And do not get me started on the reporting of sales and payments for #SelfPublishers . Everything is a mess of xls and csv files. APIs to fetch the reports are non existent (KDP, Kobo), incomplete (Apple only delivers sales but not payment reports) or need begging (google play book publishers has an API but you need to beg to get access to it and then you have to use a JAVA client to access it).

For all #AmWriting #SelfPublishers out there looking for a simple workflow, I just pushed a new version of Chapisha, my Python package that converts `.docx` to standards-compliant `.epub`.

Technical question for anyone using #kdp for self publishing. For a fantasy novel 177k words, I've currently set a trim size of 6" X 9". I'm starting to think that may be too large - would 5.5" X 8.5" or 5.25" X 8" be better?

I know this isn't a writing server but I thought I would just ask. You people seem nice. 😘
