Its that time of year (and I'm about to teach it in my course): #Seculariam is, almost universally in the Western world, a version of lapsed Christianity.
The separating out of the religious in the way the west has done it could only be done on the basis of a Christian theology.
Being Christian is totally cool! No one is attacking it or your right to observe as you see fit. But please, PLEASE reconsider your words this #Christmas when you call Santa and a tree secular.
