  1. I am slowly starting to dislike websites like #ResearchGate or #SciProfiles. They build a platform, allow way too low-barrier linking of publications with authors - and leave it up to the researchers of doing the curation work or leave stuff wrong. This allows freeloaders to link their author profile to random work that they did not contribute to, padding their perceived impact. This is probably more of a problem in countries where first- and family names are not as unique, but it should be addressed. This will be a huge pile of shit soon, too big to tidy up.
