Afrikaanse tekenprent nostalgie
Hierdie is sommer net ‘n vinnige terugblik na van ons ou Afrikaanse tekenprente wat destyds op SAUK televisie uitgesaai is.
Vandag word die vraag op WordPress se daaglikse skryfstimulus gevra: wat is jou gunsteling tekenprent, oftewel “cartoon?”
Ek is self nie ‘n groot aanhanger van tekenprente, strokiesprente ensovoorts nie. As gevolg van my siggestremdheid kon ek glad nie daardie boekies lees wat soveel ouers, onderwysers en ander bekommerde burgers hoofbrekens besorg het.
Die tekenprente wat op televisie vertoon was, het ek wel op my manier gevolg. Daar was bekende kenwysies wat aangedui het dat ‘n gleuf van tekenprente uitgesaai gaan word. Daar was die snaakse stemme van die karakters, veral op Amerikaanse tekenprente soos Bugs Bunny en vele andere. Daar was die geluide van aksies wat die karakters uitvoer, getekende karretjies waarmee hulle dalk gery het, snaakse liedjies wat deur die karakters gesing is ensovoorts.
Die gehalte van dialoog op hierdie tekenprente het soms gewissel. Die idee was immers dat dit tog ‘n tekenprent is en dat jy al die aksies moes sien. Juis daarom het Afrikaanse prente uitgestaan vir hulle goeie dialoog.
Dink maar aan Nuustak, oor die uil en verkleurmannetjie wat die nuusgebeure op ‘n komiese manier bespreek, of ou Katvis en Grootbek die haai se avonture. Hierdie prente is op die SAUK se oggendnuusprogram, Goeiemore Suid-Afrika, uitgesaai.
Gelukkig is ons steeds bevoorreg om van hierdie tekenprente op Youtube te kan hê sodat selfs jonger mense dit steeds kan kyk en geniet.
Kom ons begin eers met ‘n paar Nuustak prente.
Wat op aarde is ‘n ombutsman nou eintlik?
‘n Jong dienspligtige van Potchefstroom het sy naam met ‘n plank geslaan toe hy teen die naaldrots by Graskop opgeklim het en nie kon afkom nie.
Ou trapsuutjies het eksamen geskryf en deel van sy toetsvrae het oor geheue gehandel, maar daar slaan sy geheue mos toe en kon hy nie onthou wat hy geskryf het nie.
Nou vir ‘n bietjie Katvis, Grootbek en Vreeslose Freddie.
Dis omtrent ‘n heen en weer uitoorlê hierdie.
Hoe nou gemaak as die reus skielik sy stysel wil verruil vir vis?
Waar kan so ‘n stout, spuitende seekarkatjie jou nie laat beland nie, veral as jy dink jy is die haai en jy is so kwaai en die mees gevreesde ding op aarde.
Grootbek en Katvis ontsnap uit die Seeland Akwarium, maar waarheen nou?
Ek hoop julle het hierdie videos net so geniet soos wat ek dit geniet het om dit saam met julle te kon kyk en dit hier te plaas.

@chriscweis it definitely does look like a challenging route with 3 days having over 3000’ of climb and 4 days over 75 miles long. The #Sauk rail trail might provide a nice alternative into #Carrol and the #Chichaqua trail may be a good route getting out of #DesMoines
I’m hoping day 3 will be the #Karras loop day, with the loop route going near the high trestle bridge. -
