“We've outsourced our moral judgement about the value of people's contribution to the economy to markets.”
In this urgent conversation, @tristanh and Michael Sandel ask what it means 2 be human in a future where presence, dignity, and labor are optional—or obsolete.
We can’t afford another century of unaccountable innovation.

🚫🤑 "Sandel's deep dive into the #ethics of #capitalism reminds us that, shockingly, you can't buy a moral compass at Walmart. Who knew? 🤔 Expect riveting #insights like 'greed = bad' and 'money can't solve everything,' but hey, at least it's not another get-rich-quick self-help guide! 📚✨"

#Sandler (also #Sandlar) /ˈsændlɚ (English)/ = Jewish #surname, borrowed into English from Yiddish and Hebrew, with 2 etymologies: 1. borrowed into Hebrew from Latin SANDLARIUS (= sandal/shoe-maker), maintains that meaning in Hebrew, and has other variants e.g. #Sandel and #Sandelmann. 2. borrowed into Hebrew from a diminutuve of the Greek #given #name Alexander (= helper of men); Jews have used Greek names since at least the destruction of the Second Temple 2000+ years ago.
