I am halfway thru #4Corners (on #LNP REalignment) and there is one elephant in the room, that everyone can see but no one dares to talk about. The implied racism in the LNP nebulous immigration thinking — because there is no policy there to dissect it can only be talked about as thought bubbles — none of the polies interviewed were willing to say out loud which are the ‘groups’ that they want to keep out of Australia. They use weasel words to weave and bob around the truth of their convictions (if convictions these truly are and not mere electoral ploys). If these LNP RWNJs punter had any clarity about what they want to see legislated or regulated, they would be more articulate and decisive about what it is they would do if given the opportunity to govern.
