Rush added 4 more US cities to the tour
Oct 1- Houston,
Oct 21, - St Louis
Oct 23 - Cincinnati
Nov 15,- Pittsburgh
"When we initially booked this tour we didn’t know how well we would hold up to the rigours of the road - so we played it safe with lots of days off to recover - but life is nothing if not surprising and we’re doing fine and having a blast - so why not try to hit a few more of the cities that have
always treated us so well."
Rush have added four U.S. cities to their 2026 ‘Fifty Something’ tour.

Met Rush fans at two No Kings protests today
He had on a A Farewell To Kings t-shirt to go with his Starman sign
They're going to see the concerts in at least 3 cities
Earlier had talked to a woman and her young daughter when the woman commented on my AFTK shirt, she's also looking forward to the upcoming tour
Told them all about the Freewill tribute band, of course

Happy 2112 Day!
Received this image from Freewill, a great Rush tribute band
May you have a great day of music and dystopian literature!
Hope you get to see Geddy, Alex and Niles not Neal before the holiday next year!

saw a percussion group tonight. Got me thinking about Craig, hope he gets to make all the Rush concerts next year and that there aren't ticketmaster fees in the afterlife
after the percussion group a kid with an upright bass came out an literally slapped out some music, now I'm listening to Geddy's autobiography

Went from no Rush shows to a pair
I splurged to get mid-level tickets for sis, kidling and I
they weren't "home equity line of credit" expensive, but each cost the same as the pair of 2nd row seats I got for sis and I last tour a decade ago. Getting to take kidling to a Rush show is awesome
A friend who missed pre-sale wanted cheap seats for him and his kidling if I could join them, so now we have nosebleed seats, not from the height, rather from the cost of the cheap seats
21 minutes in, still no onsale
The resale parasites probably got most of the seats during citibank pre-sale on Friday anyway ...
listening to Caress of Steel waiting for the onsale that supposedly started 10 minutes ago to be available
They're trying to make us miss standing in line for hours
Denver onsale doesn't seem to be starting on time
"Tickets for this event have been priced in advance by the tour from $105.05 - $ 184.35, including service fees."
more more shows added for Rush Fiftysomething tour next year
They're doubling up on some cities
https://www.rush.com/tour/fifty-something/
I hope the new shows won't be as highly priced as the first round, but doubt ticketmaster will consider reasonable pricing
There are two bands I regret never having seen live. Pink Floyd and Rush.
Thank to the Fifty Something tour, and a new touring drummer, I'm getting to see Rush in July.
No, not the same without Neal Peart, but by all accounts Anika Nilles is up to the task. That both Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are enthusiastic about her playing is a strong endorsement.
On this, the day many of us couldn't get tickets for the new tour, I'm listening to updated #ColdFire
----
(Don't cost so much)
The ginormous price of a concert seat is a cold fire
(Don't charge those fees)
The ticketmaster fees on the seat is a colder fire
(The world was down)
Rush and fans losin the professor was the coldest fire
(Don't break the spell)
Knowing that Rush is on tour again is pretty damn awesome
We'll be around
They'll be around
Thanks Geddy and Alex
