Of all the #RoseHips I've tried recently, this one I found today was the most delicious. Not much flesh around the ample seeds, but by far the sweetest. Weird how the taste is fruity, but also like pea pods.

De rozenbottel is de vlezige schijnvrucht van de roos, vooral bekend van de hondsroos (Rosa canina).
Uiterlijk: rond tot langwerpig, rood, oranje, purper of zwart.
Voeding: rijk aan vitamine C, ook A, B1, B2 en E.
Gebruik: verwerkt in jam, siroop, thee en in Zweden zelfs in soep.
Natuur: belangrijk wintervoedsel voor vogels.
Let op: de haartjes binnenin veroorzaken jeuk en moeten verwijderd worden.
