#TIL you can actually unequip a #RocketRadar in #PokémonGO by clicking on it in your inventory!
Why you are forced to equip it as soon as you find it, and why you can't do it from the radar view by clicking on the world map icon, is beyond me.
I also never read about it in-game, but it's quite possible I clicked through the text message it was mentioned in.
