Tip for meeting chairs: If you have come to the end of the agenda, and there is nothing more to discuss, you don't need a motion to adjourn the meeting. You can declare it adjourned. There was a motion to adopt the agenda, which set out what would be covered, and now it's done.
There are times when a motion to adjourn is appropriate, but at many meetings, when you're done, you're done. No need to vote on it.

Last night it occurred to me that online conferences might be a good use case for Robert's Rules of Order. Imagine online conference tools with an (optional) algorithm that chairs a meeting using Robert's Rules, with exceptions handled by a human facilitator. A lot of the awkwardness and uncertainty about speaking order etc could be avoided. The facilitator's role would be much easier too.
