Ted Tocks Covers - Year 9 - Day 61
The Weight
Remembering Robbie Robertson and The Band with an endless stream of versions of this timeless song.
“I pulled into Nazareth, was feelin’ about half past dead
I just need some place where I can lay my head
“Hey, mister, can you tell me where a man might find a bed?”
He just grinned and shook my hand, “no” was all he said”#RobbieRobertson #TheBand and a whole lot more.

Robbie Robertson zemřel 9. srpna 2023. Pro The Band napsal většinu písní. Tělo jim daly tři hlasy, tvar pět rozdílných muzikantů. Velký profil vede od Six Nations a putování po barech s Ronniem Hawkinsem přes Dylanovo elektrické turné, sklep Big Pink a The Last Waltz až ke Scorseseho střižně. A také ke sporu, co ze společné hudby skutečně patří člověku, jehož jméno stojí na etiketě.
