I am Andy Callisto, you can use my first name, last name, or both. I know Ukrainian, English and Interslavic, a conlang that was made to be easily understood by Slavic people without prior learning. I enjoy translating things and have contributed to some #FOSS projects as a translator and reported bugs related to l10n, and I hope that I'll be able to contribute as a programmer in near future as well! I use #freesoftware since 2022 and installed #Linux Mint on my main machine in 2024. I like computer games, some of my favorites are #RimWorld (700 hours!), #Luanti (formerly #Minetest) and #Wanderstop. I am #demisexual (#asexual / #ace) heteroromantic male ("he/him" but I won't be mad if you use "they/them") and I support #LGBTQ+ / #queer people, furries, and otherkin. I am against queerphobia, ableism, xenophobia, racism, sexism and authoritarianism, and I also don't like copyright very much, so I usually release my creations into public domain.

How I've been unwinding after work lately: losing, slowly and completely, in RimWorld.

For the uninitiated, it's a colony sim where you manage a handful of people trying to survive on a hostile planet. Things go fine for about an hour. Then a raid, a heat wave, and a random infection all show up the same afternoon.

Nine out of ten. Would lose again.

Greetings everyone. For those who play #RimWorld using the Rimworld access mod, I've done a thing. The character editor mod is a mod where you can edit your character's traits, inventory, etc. Basically, it's cheating. For those who don't mind this, well, I've made the character editor mod accessible. How you might ask? By making a separate mod called Character Editor Accessibility. You'll need the character editor mod itself to use it but this mod I created over the course of 3 weeks using Codex should make it so that the screens are interactable and readable. This was inspired by a member of the Blind Gaming Club who said I should do it so I took the time to make it happen. I really want to play Final Fantasy, but also, my brain is fried which is why I play #Rimworld, not to say Rimworld is a mindless game, but compared to something like FF, Skyrim, Cyberpunk2077, yeah, I think I'll stick to Rimworld for now til I have more energy to focus with.
