Yes, I was one of the very few folks that DIDN'T cosplay at this year's Renfair. Spent entirely too much money but it was great to be back, showing my kid some medieval fun & eating sticky toffee pudding & drinking mead after more than 25yrs though!

Security pulled the guy who fell into our row (front) that initially took the 1st swing...
...but the PUSHER at the top almost wouldn't leave claiming he was the victim, until the crowd completely turned on him, chanting SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! & he was compelled to leave.

At the SoCal Renaissance Faire joust. Rogue 5 rows back in the viewing stands behind us took a swing at someone...
...then the other guy PUSHED him & he flew ALL the way down the stands, crashing into 4-5 damsels on the way.
Jaws dropped everywhere.

The inaugural Gem City Renaissance Festival is this Sunday, September 1 in Erie, PA! While we were not able to bring a commedia dell'arte performance by the troupe this time, a few of our Players of the Patchwork will be attending and we hope to schedule and plan for this 2025 - so you should go this weekend and check 'em out!
