#RecordTime 5: My Morning Jacket's 2011 album Circuital.
I haven't done record time for a bit because we've been busy the last few weekends, but it's Sunday morning so why not.
This one is a double disc 45rpm album. I didn't listen to it much with my old turntable because manual adjusted speed, while "pure" is also annoying. I bought this because back when I was doing breakfast radio my co-host played some of their other songs and I'd never heard of them, and liked what I heard.
I really like the opening track Victory Dance, and also Holdin' On To Black Metal, but the whole album works and has a great atmosphere.

#RecordTime 4 is Parquet Courts - Sunbathing Animal.
I really like Parquet Courts, though if I'm being completely honest I prefer their newer album Sympathy For Life. This album is still a lot of fun.
I recommend listening to it as a full album if you can, because it does a great job of managing the energy levels between tracks. The title track is great, but chaos for example.

#RecordTime 3 is Mo'ju Juju - Seeing Red / Feeling Blue
This 2015 release is a fun poppy soul record from Australian singer/songwriter Mo'Ju (previously going by Mojo Juju). We've seen Mo'Ju a bunch of times live, from tiny cabaret style gig at Jive to music festivals, and they are always great fun.
Check out They Come And They Go off this album, but we'll be hearing more of Mo'Ju as we work through the collection.

#RecordTime 2: Ausmuteants - Band Of The Future
One more for tonight, and it's another band from #Melbourne. Kind of garage punk with synth leads. Perhaps inspired by Devo. Whatever, I really like the energy in these songs and solid rhythm section works really well with the synth.
My favourite is Coastal Living, mostly because of the snarky lyrics, but it's a quick album full of high energy 1-2 minute bangers.

#RecordTime 1: Mod Vigil's self titled album. Band from Melbourne but I don't think they are playing anymore. Real raw DIY hard garage sound. This was released in 2016 and sent into #ThreeDRadio when I was doing breakfast. I liked it so much i bought it myself.
My song picks are Bad Day and Driving Is Easy, but it's a great record all round. Love the tribute to the #tascam Portastudio in the liner notes.
Check out their Bandcamp at https://modvigil.bandcamp.com

Going to gradually play through all my records and post here. I don't have a list of what I own, and they are not sorted on the shelf. I'll add a bit of a description and links to bandcamp if they exist

Thrilled to pick up the second issue from the already fantastic #RecordTime yesterday at Dog-Eared Books here in SF; the first issue was amazing and this looks no less so. (The #SexPistols listing is for "the world of Sex Pistols novelties and swindles," brilliant.) #music https://recordtimeorg.wordpress.com/
