We were lucky enough to go to Pub Choir this week in Auckland and it was just as *chef’s kiss* soul nourishing and magical as expected.

That is totally wonderful. I had never heard of Pub Choir, but Wikipedia has a good article on it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pub_ChoirI was intrigued by the glimpse of the double-bell trumpet. The one the guy is playing is like the one shown below but in brass finish. They seem more commonly to have the second bell at a 45º angle à la Dizzy Gillespie.

Last night's Low Bar Chorale at Rev Hall in Portland OR was incredible. A roomful of stressed adults put the election out of our minds to sing together with a live band. Our lineup this week was TV theme songs + we began with a surprise appearance from Guster (!!!) before their show upstairs. Satellite in three-part harmony, all of us singing our hearts out—truly amazing. Singing in community is truly my best therapy. #pubchoir #portland #guster #pdx
