Any tips on how to reinforce #psion3a hinges? Mine are intact but need to take the machine apart anyway to reseat the centre control panel's ribbon cable.

Fun to see both a poker game and Tetris clone on this post. Psion 3a was my first computer and I programmed my own versions of those two games, along with a racing game and an audio editor (to edit the sound effects!).
I still have most of the game code on one of those flash cards. Too bad I had some shared library code in a file that got lost because the batteries went dead, so none of the games launch anymore.

I continued a bit in Emily Short's "Bronze". Progress is sluggish, as the Psion is slightly too slow for this game. I managed to find the way to the lower level of the map. A few more items were also found and finally we found HIM. I wonder who HE is... This sounds all a bit like The Beauty And The Beast.
