The Speakeasy is contemplating defederation with privacysafe.social, given the spam and abuse coming from their instance. Currently, it is being used as a platform to flood the fediblock tag with nonsense from some of the fedi's saddest manchildren.
We have attempted to contact @helpinghen privately, as requested on their instance but we have received no response. Given the abuse coming from their instance, we are willing to risk a mstdn.ca situation (we were defederated for reporting abuse as their admin explicitly requested we do) to, perhaps, solve this issue.
Recommendation: Turn on account approval.
