  2. Beer KC in his closing statement to the #PostOfficeInquiry

"It is not a technical investigation into the failure of computer systems but an investigation into the harm done by people to other people"

  3. CW: Political Sketch

"How wonderful to be as incurious as Ed. Not to think – even for a nano-second – that there might be something wrong going on. That not every post office operator who was complaining of an injustice might be making it up. But not Brain-Dead Ed. He had his officials to tell him everything was tickety boo."

  5. CW: Opinion Piece

"Her inquiry appearance will, among other things, be an attempt to work out her fatal flaw: what is it about this seemingly mild-mannered, devout woman that caused her to preside over a reign of what I can only ever think of as total corporate psychopathy?"

  6. Apparently one of the problems with the Post Office's Horizon system was that it was "dependent on physical data centres".
Where the f else would the computers be?
    Ah. The cloud. Yes.
    FFS.

  7. In the context of programming errors, the former Chief Information Officer at Post Office Ltd says that they have never used the word "bug" and always referred to these errors as "faults and issues". I find that hard to believe - surely the term "bug" is industry standard. Am I right or am I wrong?
    What do you say?

  8. Again, I have the Post Office Horizon Inquiry open in the corner of my screen.
The current witness (former Group Communications & Corporate Affairs Director at Post Office Ltd) is, in my humble opinion, a classic example of communications departments in large organisations being a nasty, horrible cess-pit of weasel words, fake empaths and self-serving narcissists.
    Grrr.

  9. Today we learnt at the #PostOfficeInquiry that Angela van der Bogred authorised a drip drip drip feed of money to the widow of Martin Griffiths, a man who took his own life because a faulty computer system - Horizon- indicated that he had stolen thousands and thousands of pounds.

She paid off the widow in this way because she did not want her to speak out and spoil the brand of the Post Office.

    How fucking awful.

  10. Just think about the ramifications of letting someone such as Wragg stay in position after displaying such mega poor judgement.

  11. If you haven't been watching the Post Office Inquiry, then I'd suggest at least having a go to catch up with it. It shows just how corrupt everything has become in our country. We need a clean sweep of all the government members of the last 14 years and more than that we need Proportional Representation so no Government can be in a position again o do so much damage to who we want to be.
