  1. Add this to the UK #postOfficeScandal & the Dutch child benefits scandal. No one committed suicide or got jailed, but German education was disrupted for DECADES, because an undiagnosed computer error contradicted direct evidence more teachers were needed.

  2. "You shouldn't get a medal for being victimized. You shouldn't be getting a medal for being robbed by your own government."

Betty Brown, 92, the oldest surviving victim of the UK Post Office scam was outraged about finding herself on the New Year Honours List.

"We want compensation, and prison sentences, not worthless medals."

  3. MPs urge Fujitsu to make ‘immediate’ payment to Post Office Horizon victims | Post Office Horizon scandal | The Guardian
    theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/j

"Fujitsu supplied the faulty Horizon software to the UK Post Office, which led to branch operators being wrongly prosecuted over discrepancies in their business accounts.

The scandal has been described as the worst miscarriage of justice in British history .. Thousands of post office operators are waiting for redress."

  4. Thing is Sirralan, they were always going to screw you over but you were too busy enjoying the Establishment life of having a Knighthood and going to Rich People's places like Richard Branson's island....

  5. RE: flipboard.com/@itvnews/itv-new

The British State dragging it's heels because it's a petulant child who can't admit fault.

Hey, what is that guy they gave a Knighthood to doing about this?

  8. If there's one thing the British State hates it's when us little people win against them.
And while this scandal is FINALLY being dealt with, there are a number of other Government scandals carrying on as we speak....

    bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-679

Vennells herself was only saved from the public's righteous anger because short arse Sunak called a General Election the week after Justin Beer QC took her to pieces in the #PostOfficeScandal inquiry

    Just reminding you .

13 ppl committed suicide, 1,000s of ppl suffered

    She should be in jail

  11. Blood on their hands but it's the British State and Big Business so don't expect justice until everyone involved is dead.
You'd be a fool to think this isn't going on elsewhere in the UK, right now.

  12. CW: #suicide

    #PostOfficeScandal

At least 13 people may have taken their own lives after being accused of wrongdoing based on evidence from the Horizon IT system that the Post Office and Fujitsu knew could be false, the public inquiry found today.

A further 59 people told the inquiry they considered ending their lives, while other postmasters recount suffering from alcoholism and mental health disorders including anorexia and depression, family breakup, divorce, bankruptcy and personal abuse.

  13. The UK state sees driving people to suicide as a goal when it makes a mistake it needs to cover up.

They'd drive you and me to suicide if it protected them from scandal. That's what these people think of all of us, just objects to exploit.

Even now they're getting all giddy at the AI hustle, ready to apply it to our lives without our consent & fuck us up

  14. In a shocking revelation, the Post Office scandal might have indirectly caused over 13 suicides—who knew that bureaucracy could be so lethally boring? 🤦‍♂️ Meanwhile, the inquiry continues to search for more ways to state the obvious, because why not waste more time and paper? 🗞️🌳

  16. Hold out until you can be bought off by the State with some baubles like that previous guy.....

"Will Mellor played me in a TV show and all I got was bankruptcy"

See how Britain works, see how it grinds you down, see how it lies to you and says "things are sorted now, look, everyone is talking" and how that usually leads to nowhere as the State can wait...

  17. “A minister has spoken of his disappointment that Fujitsu, the Japanese company behind the Horizon computer system, has not done more for those whose lives were ruined in the Post Office scandal.”

Which says as much about the naïvety of the minister, Gareth Thomas, as it does about the morals of Fujitsu.
