  1. Big step forward with the #opensource Theseus Cores #polyphase filter bank successfully stitched in to the HDL Reference Design from Analog Devices. This is a big part of the receiver on the space segment of our #microwave band GEO/HEO #amateur #satellite design.

  2. Found a potential issue with the Theseus Cores #polyphase channelizer. The volunteer already has a fix in mind, and it's not a deal-breaker for lab demonstrations.

#Haifuraiya progress! This is an #opensource #satellite #communications design and will be prototyped on the #hamradio #microwave bands.

  3. Testbench passing for #polyphase channelizer for #Haifuraiya, an #opensource #HEO or #GEO communications #satellite design. Applicable to #hamradio, 5 GHz uplink and 10 GHz downlink. Shown is the transponder receiver filter.

If you’d like to join this or any other @OpenResearchIns project, get in touch.

  4. There has been a lot of #OFDM work for #neptune, and #polyphase work for #Haifuraiya over the past week. We're looking forward to another great week ahead.

Haifuraiya, by the way, is an #opensource #heo or #geo communications payload for #hamradio.

There is a lot of great work going on, but if you have not been hearing about it and want to, then please add yourself to our newsletter audience here: openresearch.institute/newslet

  5. Today in the lab? We're on to #polyphase filter banks in #fpga implementations, all #opensource work.

Thanks to everyone that helps make stuff like this happen, or supports those of us that spend the time to develop it, whether it's at @OpenResearchIns or someplace else!

You are the heroes we don't deserve, yet rely upon to fully enjoy advanced #digital #communications and #sdrs. :D

  10. Singling out which phase of the moon we're talking about has always reminded me of processing.

Wouldn't be fun to include this as... wait for it... an Easter egg in a multirate design?

    Or, a ?
