  1. pretty impressed with this crowdsourced product from a few years ago, it just got support merged into the latest product line, the old #SDRs getting again support. crowdsupply.com/fairwaves/xtrx

  2. 🔍🎮 Oh, the riveting saga of #decoding a child's toy fire engine because actually playing with it would be far too pedestrian. A tale of grown-up techies with too much time on their hands, using #SDRs to listen in on the profound secrets of a 27MHz toddler frequency. 🙄🔧

  3. @aa4hs you have got to connect #radio and #wireless to their world. Perhaps there is something you can do with cheep #SDRs or #hacking tools like the @flipper_zero to help young folk find and analyze the #rf sources in their day to day experiences.

  4. I have some beginner questions about SDRs:

    1) Do you need to connect an SDR to a computer?

    2) Do you need special software on a computer to access the SDR? Or are they all web-based these days?

I'm looking at possibly getting this:

    thank you!

  5. Today in the lab? We're on to #polyphase filter banks in #fpga implementations, all #opensource work.

Thanks to everyone that helps make stuff like this happen, or supports those of us that spend the time to develop it, whether it's at @OpenResearchIns or someplace else!

You are the heroes we don't deserve, yet rely upon to fully enjoy advanced #digital #communications and #sdrs. :D

  11. Hah! Just like me to not fully read posts. Here's my tiny #introduction Thanks @M0YNG I'm a relatively new amateur extra who's gotten distracted by the pandemic, so I'm slowly getting back into it. I like making things, particularly #antennas, but want to learn about #satellites, #POTA, #Morse, #SDRs, and #digital modes. Catch you on the air.
