First round of blind #playtests has concluded. That's tests with people I don't really know, using their own machines, and given no external instructions besides how to open the game. The good news is everyone was able to run the game and everything worked from a technical perspective ( which was up in the air considering it's a custom engine). The bad news is no one got through the tutorial. If I had a nickel for every time someone soft-locked by taking their only unit out of their load-out between the first and second tutorial levels, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's not good that it happened at all. #gamedev
