Das sind ja nun mehrfach hausgemachte Auswirkungen.
Und sie sind u.U. schlimmer als das Anpassen der Wurzeln an das Pflanzverfahren.
Hinzu kommt die enge Verflechtung mit der #plasticpollution .
Ich behaupte mal:
Die unkritische Verwendung von üblichen Baumschulvermehrungspaletten hat in Neupflanzungen einen vermeidbaren Eintrag von #Mikroplastik in den Boden verursacht.

Chinese researchers have been investigating the coastal salt marshes in Jiangsu and have found dozens of bacterial and fungal species deemed a "plastisphere microbiome" capable of plastic breakdown.

Today ends the second UN Plastic Treaty, a few days before #WorldOceansDay. "Global problems require global cooperation - I hope that all countries can come to the table to discuss our growing plastic pollution problem," says Linda Ameral-Zettler, plastic waste researcher at NIOZ. For her and other researchers, it's every day World Oceans Day.

The #plastisphere refers to the unique and diverse collection of marine #microbes that colonise marine #plastic. These include bacteria, fungi, plankton and also viruses, which are very topical at the moment due to Covid-19.
In different parts of the world, harmful microbes such as pathogens were found to have “hitch hiked rides” on marine plastic. If this happens in South Australian waters, remains an unknown.
