In #planning4summer, I’ve been slowly cleaning, designing and planting my decks so that the #TortieTerror and I can enjoy plenty of #DeckPicnics.
This was our supper tonight of stuffed cod from Amron’s, braised red cabbage and mushrooms, and fresh local peas from Richmond Country Farms. Love #EatingLocal in #RichmondBC. Utterly spoiled with the choices, as is the tortie terror who ended up eating half that piece of stuffed cod. She would have eaten more, had I left the #picnic table.

So this happened tonight!! So proud of Manami Calvo & Maya! In our #Planning4Summer, we are working on another Japanese Canadian history project with crafting some AR art installations together around Manami & Maya’s family history from WWII.
A huge thank you to the Travel Media Association of Canada and TMAC BC for hosting these awards to celebrate Canadian travel media and the stories we share. It is very much appreciated!

Best part of this nomination is that it's for the Nathan Fong Award & our episode on #JapaneseCanadian culture created with a fave young people, Miss Maya & 1 of my greatest friends, Manami Calvo. Maya did all the planning on what we were making on the episode - pumpkin mochi.
