I'm old enough to remember the NZ Electoral Commission banning a song from radio airplay and sale to the public. Going as far as to threatening NZ Police action if the video was not removed from online streaming services. #NZPol #PlanetKey

I'll never forget the support Darren Watson and I didn't get from the #FreeSpeechUnion when the last National #NZPol Key govt through MoJ Judith Collins and the NZEC banned the song and video #PlanetKey from radio broadcast, online streaming and eventually from sale.Time for a walk down memory lane.

CW: NZ POL Satire. Missing in action.
@BigD I remember when Jon Key and NZ National tried to make #NZPol #satire illegal. We managed to challenge their ban and eventually win in High Court but it was 6 months into the Key govt's third term of govt before we got the court ruling which the National Govt also appealed so we had to win a second hearing too. I feel quite depressed at how NZ has been taken over by crooks.
