Incidentally, here's how you do it:

sudo apt-get install -y pt-pulse pt-devices pt-device-manager pt-speaker

apt will sort out the redundancies on the command line.

Also, make sure that you have i2c and spi enabled in raspi-config.

Well. It's certainly gotten much easier to run a #pitop on plain old #raspbian now that all the Pitop secret-sauce utilities are now in the general package repo. #libreops

Always wanted some #Linux #native #hardware, and the #pinebookpro looks interesting, but reviews of the earlier models were... not stunning. Anyone have experience in this who could guide a young, monetarily challenged hacker in the right direction? I have a #3dprinter and some #raspberrypi s, so I thought about making a #pitop, but I can never configure the damn thing well enough to work and it's so new to me I can't seem to crack it without help in person. Someone tried for a while, then bailed on me :/ That's nothing to speak of the screen that I would have to buy with it. I saw the #pitopceed and #pitop4 as well, but one isnt out and the other is still three digits. Oh, the struggles.
